Annandale High School is a comprehensive, public high school with a strong tradition of excellence enhanced by the addition in 2001 of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. The school embraces the IB organization's "ideals of international understanding and responsible citizenship" with students who come from 82 countries and speak over 40 languages. Admission to the IB program is based on meeting prerequisite grades for the individual courses.
